February Card Club and Scrapbook Club

We will be doing the glittered dryer sheet technique this month for our Technique Geeks card club. Bring your own scissors. I have pink and orange micro-glitter so if you would like a different color, you can bring a different color for you to use. Really simple and really cute!

This is the scrapbook layout for this month. I kept it pretty generic so you could use it for a birthday or for something miscellaneous. It's nice to have those kinds of layouts around. If you have a large oval punch, bring it. Other helpful things to bring would be a small star stamp if you have one and tempting turquoise stamp pad. Everyone will have be taking turns cutting out their stars with the big shot so if you happen to have a big shot and a stars #2 sizzix die that would make the process go a little more quickly as well! This is our layout for January! It features a new XL die and framelit hearts for the Big Shot. Both of these products are in the new mini catalog! I also love this paper! It is one of the sale-a-bration rewards! WooWoo! Please bring your own adhesive (I will have glu sticks) and thats pretty much it! January Technique Geek Card Club

This month we will be learning a technique called the Magic Snowflake using reinkers and rubbing alcohol. This card also features some of the new products in the mini-catalog. I love this new stamp set with the embossing powder that is scented. I used the cherry stamp and the cherry scented embossing powder! Love it!

This is what your technique card will look like. Because it is called magic snowflake I wanted you to see what it looks like with a snowflake and how you can use this technique for many different things. If you have a bottle of rubbing alcohol please bring it. Also bring your own adhesive and small paper cutter if you have one. Then you don't have to wait in line to use mine!

On December 2nd @ 6:30 we will be making this magnetic/dry-erase calendar board. Here are two pictures of different ways you can use it. The scrapbook paper can be changed out whenever you want to. It's great!

I use this one for my menu calendar. You can also make cute magnets to stick on to remember dates, etc.

This is a board that you could use for mom's or grandmas! Their pictures go under their names! Love it!

You requested a music layout and so here you go. Very simple and yet perfect for any upcoming Christmas musical event. This would work for dance, piano, singing, band, or choir recitals. Or whatever really! You could even blog something completely un-music related! It's simple so the only thing you might want to bring is a glue pen to glue the notes on. I will have glue sticks though so even that is not necessary. Bring a black ink-pad if you have one. I need to get a new one!

12 Days of Christmas Kit: $10 I know that sounds spendy but it's really not! You get materials to decorate 12 cards and their accompany envelopes. This price is just covering the cost of the DSP paper, envelopes and photo-copies! You also will get a set of insutructions, another photo-copied set of the kit and a color print of the finished product. This is a really fun way to get your kids involved in the giving of christmas. You can also give this set away as a gift!

Cookie Box: $3 Learn h0w to make this adoreable window screen cookie box. It includes the recipe to make soft molasses cookies. It does NOT include the tag shown. This box easily holds 12 cookies. A copy of the tutorial instructions will be included in the price of the project.

Recipe Board Kit: $6 This is one of my favorites because it gets your kids involved in deciding whats for dinner. This kit will be ready to be assembled . The strips of paper are white so that you can easily replace them and keep a stash in the pocket on the board. You can have your kids help decide what to eat each week and they can write it on the slips of paper, or you can have menu ideas already written down and they can choose which ones they would like to have for the week. This clipboard also has a nice attachment at the top of it for easy hanging in your kitchen!

Explosion Box: $3 This is a SUPER cute scrapbook in a box, or gift idea. If using it as a scrapbook in a box, you just add pictures! If you are using it as a gift you can add messages, pictures and even a present or treat that will fit in the middle.

This card shows off how to use a embossing folder to create a really neat textured look

This card uses clear embossing, stamping and sponging
Bring your own sponges if you have them. I will have one heat gun so if you have one of
those it would make the process go more quickly also.

This is a super simple card. Cute, simple and elegant. Although you do have to cut
out that flower so bring some scissors!

Another simple but elegant card. If you have a small hole punch for
brads then bring it.

Last, but not least, the classic black and white card. You will learn how to quill these simple paper flowers. ALso, if there is a different sentiment that you want to stamp on your card, feel free. If you need more sympathy cards, you can switch the sentiment to fit that, and etc.

I decided to do a halloween card club theme this month because I had so many cute halloween things that I wanted to try. We will be learning how to make the accordion circle on this card using the new stampin' up score tool. I love it! I had Martha Stewart's scoring board but this one is so much easier to use. I love it. Oh wait, did I already say that! For this card bring your scallop circle punch if you have it and a scoring tool. I have these but if you have your own the process will go more quickly. Also bring scissors.

This card is using a new stamp set Spooky Bingo Bits and a new big shot die. I LOVE IT! You lift the flap and it says Boo!

I also wanted to show off some other new products. I used the new It's A Wrap Holidays stamp set to wrap the little candies and I used the new cellophane bags and another favorite stamp set to make the other treats. I love the new Halloween DSP in the catalog too. It's really fun and catches the eye. I had a lot of fun putting these together.

It will come in a kit and you will assemble it yourself.
Kit includes: plastic case, 8 note cards, 8 envelopes, 8 tags
stampin' dimensionals, ribbon and tag. The tag will describe
the contents of the kit and how to use it. Stick a pack of stamps
in the case and it is a great gift for teachers, friends, etc.

Whoever receives this gift will just pick a card and a tag that fits
the occasion and stick the tag on with a dimensional. Write in the card,

Here's a look at how the recipe pages will look. The back of the recipe cards are

blank if you need to continue a recipe or put a picture of the recipe before

the actual recipe!

Paper Purse: $4

This will be a step-by-step make and take that will include making the purse

and you will get to take home the instructions on how to make the

purse so you can duplicate it at home. If you want to just buy the instructions

without making the purse, the cost will still be $3.

Tic-Tac-Toe Travel Tin: $5

This is a great gift for any kids in your life. It is a magnetic tic-tac-toe game.

Perfect for church, traveling, etc. You can make it for a girl or a boy. It will

include the tic tac toe game and a small note pad and pencil to keep score!

February 10 for $10

I know! There are six cards here, but I can't decide which one to omit! Any suggestions? Anyway, it will be five of these six cards. Check out the each individual card below.

Things to bring for this card: Your own chocolate chip and pumpkin pie ink pad if you have it. Only if you don't want to have to wait on others who are using mine!

For this card bring your own needle and white thread. Also a paper piecer, sponge daubers, baja breeze marker and baja breeze and chocolate chip stamp pad. Once again, the only thing I strongly suggest you bring is the needle and thread but having the other things would make the process go more quickly for the group if you have them!

This uses the scallop punch, circle punch, paper cutter, oval punch and scalloped oval punch. We used the cherry cobbler stamp pad. Bring your own punches if you have them, if not, no worries but you do need your own paper cutter.

Nothing really needed for this one. We will just have to patient with eachother passing around the markers to color in the Birthday.

This uses the paper piercer and the sewing machine. Also, the big shot and this embossing folder. If you have this embossing folder and a big shot then bring it if you don't mind others using it. Also, if you have a sewing machine to share that would be great also! White thread was used.

This is a fun card that uses tissue paper! I used the border punch shown and old olive and rich razzleberry stamp pads if you want to bring them. Also, you will need your own paper cutter for this one.

I had to make a bow holder for my little niece for her birthday and I decided to make a few extra. I sell them for $12 if anyone is interested in one! I can also custom make them with your special girl's initials. This is the perfect thing for holding all those girly bows. The ribbons extend down 3-5 feet depending on the holder.

This is a family tree type of layout. The title says: "All because two people fell in love..." Then you can put your names wherever you want depending on if you are going to use pictures or just write in names. It looks kinda boring just like this but once you put pictures in of grandparents, parents, siblings and you then you are pretty much gonna have a full house! If you want to complete the layout bring two pieces of 12X12 whisper white cardstock. See you all next wednesday night!

My cousin was having a pirate party for her daughter and she couldn't find any girly pirate invitations so I made her some. Besides forgetting to put the actual date of the party on the inside (oops!) they turned out pretty good. I made 18 invitations in about 3 hours total. I was pretty proud of myself. If anybody ever needs custom invitations just let me know!

Digital Scrapbooking I LOVE IT!

A page layout that I made with digital scrapbooking. What I love about the digital program is that you get to use all the same colors, papers, elements, accesories, etc. but it is digital...which means no clean up. I printed them off at Wal-mart and they are gorgeous and the colors are the true stampin' up colors. It is so much fun to sit at the computer and create scrapbook pages. I am officially hooked!

Both cards for February's card club are using the same color scheme but using two different techniqeus. The bird card uses a 2 step punch and a glassy glaze embossing powder to raise the words and make them shiny. The heart card uses a piece of aluminum metal and an embossing plate. If you want to make more than one please let me know asap. It is an additional $1.50 for each card you want to make.

I used stampin' up decorative eyelets and paper to create this fun recipe board.

Wood blocks that I modge-podged stampin' up paper onto and then modge-podged family photos on top of that. These are now on my piano! I love them!

I was looking on Ebay for a ribbon holder for my daughter and they were selling for $25! I couldn't believe so I decided to make my own using stampin' up supplies. I will custom make these for $12.50! Half the Ebay price!

This is a really poor picture but this was a super fun and cute project. We are doing it for our church Super Saturday. You can either say Some of my Greatest Blessings call my Mom, or Some of my Greatest Blessings Call me Grandma. I sell these for $25. Measures 12 inches by 40 inches. Fits up to six magnet names comfortably!

I love this for the craft projects that my kids are constantly bringing home. Now I have a place to put them. I will customize this project for $20.

New Kids card club coming up!

Right now I am organizing a new club that will start in January. It is like a 10 for 10 but geared towards children. The cards are easy to put together and fun for cards. Each month will feature a new type of card. For example, January will be extreme sports (the cards shown above.) February will focus on girls with ponies, flowers, etc. March will be sports, April will be robots and so forth. This club will cost $15 and you will walk away with 10 kids cards and a small gift (ribbon, stamp, etc.) These cards can be assembled by you the night of club or you can do the stamping and take them home for your children to assemble so that they feel a part of the process. Then you will have a bunch of cards just ready to give away at birthdays or as thankyou cards. This club will run for 6 months. If you sign up, you are committed for the entire six months. I have room for 12 people to participate. Email me or give me a call if you would like to sign up!

Stampin' Up Open House!

So heres the information on the upcoming Open house. It is not only a stampin' Up open house but I have also invited my mary kay friend who will be giving satin hands and color consultations and my pampered chef friend who will be providing the snacks and food demonstrations. The open house will start at 10am and continue until 2pm. You can stop by or stay the whole time. You can enjoy the projects and yummy snacks and get some early christmas shopping done. There will be give-a-ways by all vendors and discounts for orders made that day. For my discount I will have balloons for you to pop. Christmas Countdown tins

This is a christmas countdown made out of a mini muffin pan and scrapbooking supplies! You can stick a small treat inside each muffin tin. It was really fun to make very simple. I am hosting a class on October 29th and 30th at 7pm at my house. The cost will be $15. These would make a great christmas gift. This is a 12 cup birthday countdown. This was a lot of fun also. My kids are excited to use it. If you want to make one of these also, let me know.

October Scrapbook Club

I put the elements on a piece of gray cardstock so if you want to walk away with a completed layout bring two pieces of 12X12 card stock. Grey, black or white would work.

Build-a-Bear Stamp Set and Kids 10 for $10

The new mini catalog has a build-a-bear line complete with stamp sets, designer series paper, and sizzix die-cuts. Very cute and Fun. On October 10th (a saturday) I will be hosting a 10 for $10 for kids using a the build-a-bear stuff along with some other fun kid stamps. Email me if you would like to sign up for this class. $10 per child (each child will walk away with 10 homemade cards they made themselves to give to friends and family!) This is August's 10 for 10 cards. Ten for ten is where you pay ten dollars and make ten cards. Two of each card shown. There are some giveaways, food and basically just a good time! Homemade Animal Memory Game

So I woke this morning at six and decided to make this. I had been thinking about what I could make that was cute for kids because stampin' up is doing a contest for demonstrators. So I thought of this and gave it a try. This is the front of the game board.

This is what the inside of the game board looks like. It is sturdy because it is made from layers of cardstock and paper.

These are the pieces to the game. For young children you use the game board and 6 pairs of cards. You can play by color, by animal or both. For more advanced or older players you can use all 32 cards on the floor or on a table.

This is the back. A paper bag was adhered to it so that you can keep the cards inside and the instructions are also on the back. What do you think? Will stampin' up like it?

I love coming up with new projects to do. I think I got this idea from someone who submitted their idea to stampin' up. I loved it and had to make it. Everything is made from stampin' up paper. The purse could hold up to 8 cards and you would put some stamps in the pocket on the front of the purse, and their you go, a cute gift! I totally think this will be a class coming up real soon! Stay posted to find out when.

Just wanted to let you all know what I have coming up! First of all I have a couple spots still open in my new scrapbook club that will begin in September. I need 10 people and right now I have 5, so if you are interested, give me a call. We will be making the elements for a scrapbook page or layout and then you will have the option of making a matching card for an additional $1. You will get a free catalog for joining and also will get to be hostess once during the ten months that club will run. Hostess months are picked at our first club night. There is a minimum purchase requirement each month of $20 to make it fair for each hostess. Of course, you can always spend more than that!

August 13th and 14th 10 for $10 7pm
Make 10 cards for $10
Cards, Fun, Food, Prizes (I will be posting pictures of the cards by the middle of July)

October 15th and 16th 7pm
30 cards for $25 Your $25 includes the price of the Christmas scrapbook pack out of which you will make a minimum of 30 cards and or tags. This will be a great class to get you ready for the Holidays! Also some great food and fun prizes!

December 5th My 2 year Demonstrator Anniversary Celebration. Open house style from 10am to 2pm. Come and make a free project. Each additional project will be $1. Fun way to get some little gifts out of the way before christmas and to get creatively inspired! Also, I will holding a stampin' up raffle. Each ticket will be a dollar and the proceeds will go to a family in need for Christmas and you could win a basket full of goodies!

Party Challenge!

Hey everyone, I want to throw out a challenge to you all. I am looking to expand my business and reach new people. In order to do that I need your help. During the months of June, July and August I would like to throw some stampin' up parties. If you would like to host one you would receive all the hostess benefits and a free gift. Also, for each person who attends your party and signs up to do a party, you will get an additional gift. The first five people to sign up to do a party will get double the hostess free merchandise. For example, if you get $30 free merchandise, you will then get $60 instead. Sweet, I know! So hurry up and let me know when you would like to throw your party!

Magnetic/Dry Erase Calendar

This is the next project that we will do. Probably in May sometime. It is magnetic and dry/erase. You can also change out the piece of scrapbook paper to have a different theme as often as you want. The frame is 15X15. You can hang it or place it on an ornamental easel. I already have several people signed up for the project but still have room for more. Date and time will be decided after I talk with those who have signed up to find the best time for everyone. Cost is $15. Email, post or call me to let me know if you are interested.

National Scrapbook Day!

Hey Everyone! Guess what!!!! I am going to hold my own National Scrapbook Day party!

It will be on May 2nd from 9am to 9pm and the cost will be $30. That would include snacks, hoagie sandwich lunch, pizza dinner, prizes, movies and the use of all my inks, stamps, cricket and cuttlebug!

Product will also be available to purchase if you need something while you are there. We can watch chick flicks on the T.V. and scrap the day away. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are interested. Space is limited to 12 people. This will also be posted on my blog and stampin' up webiste!

Frame Project for March

This is a project class that I will be holding in march. The cost will be $30 which will cover the cost of a paper pack which you keep and the central park stamp set. If you do not want to purchase the stamp set the cost will be $15. Please bring your own frame that will fit an 8X10 picture with a mat around it so that you can decorate it. There will also be an option of a cursive font. When you email me to sign up please note whether you would like the regular font or a cursive font. Please email me or call me to sign up for this class. I will be offering this class on Thursday the 26th of March from 10-1 in the afternoon and in the evening from 7-10. I have room for 10 participants in each time slot.

Fantastic Frames!

So here is another frame I have done. I am going to make another one that matches it. It would be a really cute couples frame. The little rub on stencils say things like love and cherish, together forever, etc. Just add your own pictures. I will be doing a frame class sometime soon. I will let you know the details soon! I will probably charge you the price of a stampin'up kit that I put together and you will bring your own frame.

New Card Club!
